Workspaces
Workspaces
Create a workspace with AI or by hand, then rename, recolour and organise it.
A workspace is the home for one project, team, client or business. It has its own people, modules, agents and look, so the work in it stays separate from everything else.
When to create a new workspace
Make a new workspace when the work has a different team or a different owner, for example each client of an agency, or a side project. Work that shares a team usually belongs in the same workspace, as another module.
Create a workspace
Choose Create Workspace on the Workspaces page. There are two ways in:
- Describe it to Orchit AI. Say who it's for and what work happens in it. Orchit AI asks a few questions, shows you a plan of what it will build, and builds it once you agree. The Quickstart walks through it.
- Create it manually. Fill in the same setup yourself, step by step.
Either way, the setup covers:
| Step | What you decide |
|---|---|
| Details | Name, logo, colour, industry, and who it's for (a client, yourself or a team). |
| Lanes | One to six big outcomes the work serves. |
| Modules and sheets | The parts of the workspace (up to 15), and the lists in each (up to 10). |
| Team | The teams you need, how many seats each has, and who's in them. |
| Review | A summary, and who gets the starter cards. |
Note
In an organization, only owners, admins and editors can create workspaces. When you reach your plan's workspace limit, orchit offers an upgrade, or tells you to ask your admin.
Find your workspaces
The Workspaces page lists every workspace you can open. You can filter it to your organization's workspaces, private ones, ones shared with you, or archived ones, and search or switch to a gallery. Invitations waiting for you appear at the top.
Change a workspace
Choose ⋯ in any module header to open the workspace's Space Details. There you can rename it, change its logo and colour, and see its members and storage. You can also give it a light or dark look of its own that applies only in this workspace. Admins can remove or re-invite members from the same place.
Learn from conversations lets the workspace's agents learn from your chats with them.
Archive or delete a workspace
On the Workspaces page, open the workspace's row actions:
- Archive puts the workspace away without losing anything. Filter by archived workspaces to find it, then unarchive it.
- Delete removes it. You'll type the workspace's name to confirm.
Only people who can manage the workspace's users see these actions.
