AI and agents

Artifacts and widgets

Reports, documents and live views an agent makes for you, and how to share them.

Sometimes an answer works better as a page than as a paragraph. orchit's AI can hand you three kinds of output beyond plain text:

Output What it is Good for
Artifact A page, document, chart, diagram or code, opened beside the chat Briefs, reports, diagrams, anything you'll revise and share
File A Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown or CSV file to download Documents you'll send or edit elsewhere
Widget A live number or chart pinned in a module Keeping an eye on progress, workload or open issues

Artifacts

Choose Artifact as the output in Mind or a module's chat, or just ask, and the agent picks the shape. For example:

  • "Make a one-page project brief for the new website."
  • "Draw a diagram of our onboarding process."

The artifact opens in a panel beside the chat. You can switch between preview and code, copy it, download it or open it in its own tab. Ask for changes in the chat: each one is saved as a new version, and you can go back to earlier ones.

Share an artifact

Choose Share and decide who can open it:

  • Anyone with the link can view it without signing in.
  • Only people you add sign in with their email to view it, and you can email them the link.

The link shows the version you shared, and you can move it on to a newer version whenever you're ready. Stop sharing at any time, and the link stops working. People who open a shared artifact see who shared it, and a note that AI made it.

Files

Choose a file format as the output, and the reply includes a file to download. The formats an agent can produce are set in its configuration.

Widgets

Ask for a widget in a module's chat, for example "Show me open bugs by priority", or use Add widget, then pin the one you like. On Peak, widgets track the whole workspace: describe what you want, preview it, and accept it.

Arrange pinned widgets by editing the layout: change a widget's width, move it, or unpin it. Each widget can be refreshed, edited or deleted.
