AI and agents
Mind
Your personal AI assistant across every workspace you belong to.
Mind is your personal AI assistant. It lives on your dashboard, outside any one workspace, and your chats with it are yours alone. Use it to think, write, research and create, and to find out what's going on across your workspaces.
What Mind can do
- Answer questions and explain things, from a quick fact to a hard problem.
- Search the web for live answers, with numbered sources.
- Write documents, emails, plans and summaries, and hand them back as a file.
- Create images.
- Make artifacts: pages, charts, diagrams and documents that open beside the chat. See Artifacts and widgets.
- Tell you about your workspaces, such as what needs your attention or how a project is going. Answers that come from a workspace are marked with its name.
- Make changes in a workspace by handing the job to that workspace's agent. You review the change before anything is saved.
Open Mind at the top of the dashboard sidebar, and type, or start from one of the suggestions.
Shape the answer
The controls under the message box change how Mind answers:
| Control | Use it to |
|---|---|
| Answer mode | Get a quick answer (Fast), a reasoned one for hard problems (Think), or a step-by-step plan (Plan). |
| Search | Answer this message from the web. It's off by default. |
| Output | Get the answer in the chat, as an artifact, or as a file such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint. |
| Model | Let orchit pick (Auto), or choose a model yourself. Models your plan doesn't include are marked. |
You can attach files and images, paste screenshots, or record a voice note, which is transcribed when you send it.
On each reply you can see how Mind reasoned, copy the text, or regenerate the answer.
Your chats
Start a new chat whenever the topic changes, so earlier context doesn't get in the way. Earlier chats are kept in Recent Chats, where you can rename or delete them. Deleting a chat is immediate.
Mind or a workspace agent?
Use Mind for your own work, and for questions that span workspaces. Use a workspace or module agent when the work belongs to a team: its chats and changes stay with that workspace, where the team can see them.
Note
Mind can make mistakes. Check names, numbers and dates before you rely on them.
