Modules and tabs

Add modules for each part of your work and use the tabs inside them.

A module is one part of a workspace, such as Sales, Support Desk, Hiring or Content. It holds that work's lists, cards, forms and processes, and it can have an AI agent of its own.

Module or list?

Add a module for a separate area of work that has its own process or team. Add a list inside an existing module for another stream of the same work: "Bugs" and "Feature requests" both belong in a Product module. See Lists.

Add a module

Choose Add in the workspace sidebar. orchit opens on its ready-made modules first, because the module you need often already exists.

Way Best when
Ready-made A standard area such as support tickets or recruiting. Preview one, then choose Use this Module. It's copied into your workspace, and you can change anything in it.
Create with AI Your work is specific. Describe it, for example "Keep track of supplier orders and deliveries", then review and generate.
Create manually You want an empty module to build up yourself.

With AI, nothing is created until you've reviewed the draft. You can rename it, add or remove its sheets, and choose who gets the starter cards and which status they start in. If you already have a module, or there's a ready-made one, that covers the same work, Orchit AI says so and offers to use it instead.

Module tabs

A module shows its work in tabs along its header. Which tabs appear depends on the module:

Tab What it shows
Main A chat with the module's agent, and its pinned widgets. See Agents.
Board Its task lists and cards, named after what it holds, such as Tasks, Leads or Tickets. See Boards and views.
Lists Entries people keep, such as leads or invoices. See Lists.
Forms, Process Its card types, forms and the steps its cards move through.
Noteboard The module's notes. See Noteboard.
Knowledge Hub, Workforce The knowledge bases and agents that serve it.
Email, Calendar Mailboxes and calendars linked to it. See Mail and Calendar.

To change the tabs, choose + at the end of them and tick the ones the module needs. Everyone who opens the module sees the same tabs. Removing a tab never deletes what it showed, so you can add it back any time.

Note

Only people who can edit a module can change its tabs. People who were shared just a list or a card see fewer tabs.

Manage a module

A module's ⋯ menu in the workspace sidebar lets you edit its name and icon, configure its agent, share just this module (owners and admins), or delete it. Deleting a module removes everything in it and can't be undone.
