Noteboard

Quick notes for yourself or a module, pinned where you need them.

Noteboard is for quick notes: ideas, checklists, links, pictures and voice memos, kept close to your work.

Two noteboards

Noteboard Holds Who sees it
Your personal Noteboard (dashboard) Your notes from every workspace, plus private ones You
A module's Noteboard tab The notes that belong to that module Everyone in the module

When you write a note, choose where it's visible: only you, or everyone in a workspace.

Write and organise notes

Choose New note and pick its kind: a note, checklist, image, link or voice memo. Give it a colour and labels so it's easy to spot.

Pin the notes you need most to keep them at the top. Archive notes you're done with but want to keep. Deleted notes go to the trash, where you can restore them or delete them for good, and you can undo a deletion straight away.

Search, filter by kind, label, colour or author, and switch between grid and list layouts to find what you need.

Google Docs and other apps

Turn on Save to Google Docs for a note, and orchit creates a Google Doc from it and keeps the two in sync. Edits in either place show up in the other.

On your personal Noteboard you can also:

  • Connect a service such as Notion, Google Docs or Google Keep, to keep its notes in sync.
  • Import notes once, from a file exported from Google Keep, Evernote, Notion, Apple Notes and others.
