Calendar

Connect Google or Outlook and see events beside your work.

orchit's calendar shows your meetings beside your work, and keeps them in sync with Google Calendar or Outlook in both directions.

Three calendars

Calendar Shows
Dashboard → Calendar Everything: all your workspaces and your personal calendar.
A module's Calendar tab The module's own events, plus calendars linked to it, for the module's team.
Calendar in the workspace sidebar Every module's events in one place.

Connect your calendar

On the dashboard's Calendar, choose Connect, pick Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, and sign in. From then on, events you add or change in either place appear in the other. Other providers are listed as coming soon.

To bring a calendar into a module, open the module's Calendar tab and link a calendar you've connected. The module's team then sees its events there. Each connection can be hidden, reconnected or disconnected at any time.

Create events

Choose Create and pick what you're adding:

Type Use it for
Event A meeting or anything with a start and an end. It can repeat.
Task Something due on a date.
Out of office Time away. It can decline meetings for you, with a message.
Appointment schedule Time set aside for appointments, split into slots of the length you choose.

Click an event to edit it, delete it, or open it in Google Calendar or Outlook. For a repeating event, orchit asks whether you mean this one, this and the following ones, or all of them.

Note

You can only change events you organise. If a calendar was connected read-only, reconnect it to allow editing.

Ask an agent

Ask a module's agent "What's on the calendar this week?" or "Put a design review on Thursday at 3pm." It shows you the event before saving it.
