Media

Every file you have in one library: uploads and connected cloud storage.

Media is one library for every file you have: everything uploaded to orchit, plus the files in the cloud storage you connect. Open it from the dashboard sidebar.

Upload files

Choose Upload, then pick where the files go (orchit or one of your storages) and who sees them (just you, or a workspace). Then drop the files in. The dialog closes straight away while the upload carries on in a small panel at the bottom right, so you can keep working. Failed uploads can be retried from there.

Each file has a size limit, shown in the upload dialog.

Connect cloud storage

Choose Connect to add Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, Amazon S3 or WebDAV. Their files appear in Media beside your uploads. You can sync, reconnect or disconnect each one, and choose which workspaces see it.

Apple iCloud isn't supported, because Apple offers no iCloud Drive access for web apps.

Find and manage files

Search by name, filter by workspace, source, type or size, and sort by date, name or size. Click a file to preview it, download it, open it in its own storage, rename it, or move it to another workspace.

Note

When you delete a file, orchit tells you what happens to it. Cards and notes that use an orchit file keep their own copy. A file in a storage without a trash is gone for good.
