Lists

Lists (sheets) hold your cards. Add them ready-made, with AI, or from scratch.

Lists (also called sheets) are where cards live. A module can have several, for example "Bugs", "Feature requests" and "Releases" in a Product module.

Two kinds of list

Kind Holds Lives on Examples
Tasks Work people do and finish The module's board Bugs, to-dos, campaign steps
List Entries people keep and fill in The module's Lists tab Leads, invoices, contracts, documents

The kind comes from where you create the list: a list made on the board is a task list, and one made on the Lists tab is a list of entries. Every list shows its kind, so you can always tell.

The two work together. An entry, such as a lead, can have tasks linked to it, such as a call or a follow-up, and the tasks carry the dates. See Cards.

Add a list

On a module's board, open the sheet picker at the left of the toolbar and choose + Add new. On the Lists tab, use the type menu instead. Either way, orchit shows ready-made lists first. Pick one, or describe the list to Orchit AI, or create it manually with a name, description and icon. With AI, you review the draft before anything is created.

See every list in the workspace

Lists in the workspace sidebar gathers the lists of entries from every module. Group them by module, card type or owner, and open any list's form and process from there.

Manage a list

In the sheet picker, each list's ⋯ menu lets you rename it, share it on its own (see Sharing and access), or delete it. Deleting asks you to type its name.

Tip

The sheet picker can show several lists at once, or all of them, on one board.
